Books Behind Bars, a Prison Project of Peace and Justice of La Luz, in coordination with the Otero County Detention Center, are working for a more positive community by providing quality books to the Otero County Detention Center. Donated books are inspected by Officer Neil LaSalle and Zin of the Otero County Sheriffs Department’s K-9 Section. Special thanks to Joyce, Michele, and the Alamogordo Library volunteers.
